A few months ago a participated in the screens n' spokes show at mugshots coffee house. I was SUPPOSED to do a print to sell at the show and on Etsy to help raise money for MS, but time and money didn't allow it.
I started my design, drew and inked my drawing, but I never got to actually prep my screen or print it.
Sam (the organizer), emailed me and asked when I would be dropping my prints off- and I felt like such a jerk- he was so understand though, and asked if I could donate the original, since I already had it drawn.
I added some color and hand painted it with screen ink-(Silver ink- doesn't scan so well) and the final piece turned out pretty well and I think it looked great framed and MUCH better than this crappy scan! Sam purchased the painting himself and I was very pleased and blessed that I could have been apart of such a show!
You can still buy some of these limited edition prints- and help raise money for MS- by going to Sam's Etsy shop- HEY- Sutter, Eleanor Grosch, Jay Ryan and many more have posters that you can purchase!
Just go to screensnspokes.etsy.com
Sorry I have been so absent everyone- I do miss you!
I have 6 new prints for sale, and I will have a few originals up as well soon I hope!
I had to raise the prices slightly to accommodate for Etsy and Paypal taking a cut, but I hope it wont sway you from purchasing!
I welcome all feedback, and look forward to sending everyone a little piece of my art!

The show at local was amazing! David and Patrick (owners) were so gracious, helpful and so much fun, that 9pm came and went and I didn't even notice that I hadn't started packing up until after 10.
I had 6 new prints for sale, as well as 6 new framed originals and a few unframed in a book. I met so many wonderful people and I am so happy to know that some of my artwork will be getting to spend a lot of time with some of you!
This summer's Punk Rock Flea Market was this past weekend, and it couldn't have gone better. My new prints were welcomed in, and I only have a very few number of my beetle prints left. The day was long, but I had great company. Sitting on my right was one of my best friends and an amazing artist Eleanor Grosch of Pushmepullyou design and creator of Ked's by Eleanor, on my left was Sutter of course and across the row from me was Caitlin Kuhwald, an amazing illustrator whom I purchased a print that I can't wait to frame!
I saw a lot of friendly faces and met a lot of new and very kind people. I am so thankful for those of you who came out and supported us, and I am really anxious to get my new prints up in the InkFinger store!
I also am going to be selling some of my ORIGINALS here as well! This post is one of a set of 4 hummingbirds who are beautifully framed and ready for a new home, so keep your eyes peeled!
I will be a bit of a hermit for a few days while reading Harry Potter book 7, but after that- I should be rearing to scan and post!
Above are 2 originals I will be selling at the Second Saturday in Media Show at LOCAL home and gifts.
I found an amazing frame for one of them, and I am still hunting down something simple but worthy for the second. The green and blue bubbles are much softer in color in the originals, but I am sure you can get the feeling for them. I actually like the originals MUCH more and that is very rare for me. I always seem to smudge or get ink all over the place, but on these two, I was very careful and proud of myself for keeping them pristine!
I also intend to have prints of both of these as well- they will vary a lot I am sure, but that way I get to keep some for myself! I also have 4 small hummingbirds on their way, so I hope I have time to post them before they sell!
The original of this piece looks a bit different. My color choices were Yellow and a light blue to start, but after playing around with it, I decided to go orange and silver/gray. It fits the somber mood of the raven much better than the other colors.
I am not in love with this drawing. I think it will translate MUCH better to a screen print, and I hope to do a lot better treatment of the bubble. I have many ideas in mind.
I wanted to ask your opinion on some color schemes. Any one have a favorite that they would like to see me in corporate?
Ok- off to draw!

I am excited to announce that I am going to have a small "show" this coming July 14th. I will be selling original artwork and new prints (This image being one of them). I have just started putting some things together and I am so excited to be showing my work at LOCAL. Local is one of the CUTEST shops I have ever been to, and the owner David, has amazing taste and style. Check out the website here.
I will be at the shop on Saturday July 14th from 6pm-9pm for Media's Second Saturday art walk.

This also happens to be Bastille day, and over 44 local business will be open late to showcase artists! So bring the whole family and enjoy this adorable town and all it has to offer. Please stop in and check out my work, and maybe even get some cool inkFinger merch! Sutter will be there too for all you Picnic Mountain fans!
I have definitely not kept up my end of this inkFinger bargain lately. I am sorry Sutter! It seems I have let a few things effect my posting progress. First thing, work; We all know how this goes right? We'll that is no excuse, so I won't even get into that.
Second, house; This has still seemed to consume most of my creative energy, but I am actually getting to a point where I like working on the house so I have to pull myself away for a bit. I keep working towards my goal of finishing my studio- and THAT, will be tough to fight.
Finally, THIEVES! I don't want to get into it right now, but lets just say Google has helped many people use my images without my permission or knowledge. I am trying to figure out how to stop this, but it still scares me to post. I am really happy when people DO ask my permission, but it boggles my mind how many people think that Google Images are for free to use however they please!
THIS drawing/painting, was done for an art show at MugShots Coffee Shop in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia. It was a "friends of Mugshots" show, and I was very humbled to be asked to put up a piece.
The piece sold in 2 days, and these pics are the only record I have of it. I totally forgot to scan the drawing, and I had to go in at lunch to try and get some images of it. The poor people sitting right in front of it were very patient with me!
I would have liked some more time to work on this piece, but I must say that it turned out quite nice. It had a very peaceful feeling to it, and I miss it a little bit.
The piece was rather large too. About 16 x20 at least! Thanks you to the person who purchased it! I hope you are enjoying it very much!
I also hope to have more work up in some local places this summer, so keep your eyes out Philadelphia!
