HELLO WORLD!
I have definitely not kept up my end of this inkFinger bargain lately. I am sorry Sutter! It seems I have let a few things effect my posting progress. First thing, work; We all know how this goes right? We'll that is no excuse, so I won't even get into that.
Second, house; This has still seemed to consume most of my creative energy, but I am actually getting to a point where I like working on the house so I have to pull myself away for a bit. I keep working towards my goal of finishing my studio- and THAT, will be tough to fight.
Finally, THIEVES! I don't want to get into it right now, but lets just say Google has helped many people use my images without my permission or knowledge. I am trying to figure out how to stop this, but it still scares me to post. I am really happy when people DO ask my permission, but it boggles my mind how many people think that Google Images are for free to use however they please!
THIS drawing/painting, was done for an art show at MugShots Coffee Shop in the Fairmount area of Philadelphia. It was a "friends of Mugshots" show, and I was very humbled to be asked to put up a piece.
The piece sold in 2 days, and these pics are the only record I have of it. I totally forgot to scan the drawing, and I had to go in at lunch to try and get some images of it. The poor people sitting right in front of it were very patient with me!
I would have liked some more time to work on this piece, but I must say that it turned out quite nice. It had a very peaceful feeling to it, and I miss it a little bit.
The piece was rather large too. About 16 x20 at least! Thanks you to the person who purchased it! I hope you are enjoying it very much!
I also hope to have more work up in some local places this summer, so keep your eyes out Philadelphia!
-Niff (yes--niff!)
