Hello all!
A few months ago a participated in the screens n' spokes show at mugshots coffee house. I was SUPPOSED to do a print to sell at the show and on Etsy to help raise money for MS, but time and money didn't allow it. I started my design, drew and inked my drawing, but I never got to actually prep my screen or print it.
Sam (the organizer), emailed me and asked when I would be dropping my prints off- and I felt like such a jerk- he was so understand though, and asked if I could donate the original, since I already had it drawn.
I added some color and hand painted it with screen ink-(Silver ink- doesn't scan so well) and the final piece turned out pretty well and I think it looked great framed and MUCH better than this crappy scan!
Sam purchased the painting himself and I was very pleased and blessed that I could have been apart of such a show!
You can still buy some of these limited edition prints- and help raise money for MS- by going to Sam's Etsy shop- HEY- Sutter, Eleanor Grosch, Jay Ryan and many more have posters that you can purchase! Just go to screensnspokes.etsy.com
Sorry I have been so absent everyone- I do miss you!

I don't think I've complimented you on your bird illustrations yet. Your birds are so very life like, they hardly seem hand sketched. I can only imagine how much more difficult it would be capturing such images with a camera in an urban town. I thought of you specifically when I paused to read from a children's magazine (at work) a short article about honeyguides, a bird that may be on the endangered species list. I thought the story was cute the way it illustrated a bird calling out to humans to help it rid a beehive of its bees.
