Hello hello. Remember us? We used to host this site. I thought I would post some photos of the reason we haven't been posting much lately. These are BEFORE and DURING pictures. I can't post AFTER shots because I don't have a time machine yet. It's still being built. Anyway, enjoy seeing our new house in complete disarray.

Here's the living room. We chose to forego the pink explosion of lace and decided it should host everything we own in the world. I think it's a good look. The only problem is that it takes 40 minutes to find a fork or Qtip. The problem is that we can't disperse anything yet because the entire upstairs isn't finished. We still need to spackle and sand and paint and paint all the walls.

This looks decievingly clean and finished because the floors were just redone. The walls still look like a crack den with chips and breaks and wallpaper paste all over them.

Where did that hanger go you ask? I don't know, I just don't know...

Stay tuned for the AFTER shots. They should be coming along in about 3-4 years.

we now have much less "crack den" walls...and i can explain how we did it.

this could end up being a hame improvement blog.

Home renovation is such endless work, but, boy, you can't beat the feeling. No matter how long it takes to 'finish', remember to look at the 'before' pictures to remind yourselves how much you've accomplished. It looks like a really great, inspired start. You've brought back such a feeling of warmth by uncovering floors - - - it looks great. Don't worry about the home-improvement turn the blog might take! Post away!
