This is a small corner store in the town I grew up in. The old man that owned it said to be " a child molester," but I knew he was just a lonely old man. The store smelled like old. He had the coolest old cash register, and lots of penny candy...course, you never knew how long it had been there. This place was right out of the 1950's, like time just passed it by and it forgot about going along.

what are you talkin' about? it's already plenty good.

So, the townspeople called him a child molester, but you knew he was just old and lonely. Hm. Interesting.

By the way...when I put this post up last night, the comment I put up was me saying; "I don't even wanna post after Matt's post yesterday...I really thought his was just great." So, I ended saying " I know it's not as good as Matt's, but I'm sure you can find something good about it...=)" Matt made me take it down b/c he said it sounded like I was putting myself down. I just really thought his comic was great.
SO, on that note...PETE---awesome! you def. made it better. thank you!

back at KU we thought up a fictional all-purpose store called "Joe's Hick and Shoe Barrel". and naturally we wrote a song about it. so anyway, your drawing reminded my of this little gem:

Looks good Niff - I really like how you're handling architecture!
